Caberlot

History

This grape is a natural crossing of cabernet sauvignon x merlot that derives from the Colli Euganei-zone in Veneto, where it was found in the 50's. It was named Caberlot in the 70's and later planted in Toscana, where the producer PodereIl Carnesciale makes a rare varietal-wine from this grape.
