This green grape has a long history in the region of Lazio. It was known by Pliny under the name Uva Pantastica. Today it is used as a blending-component. It can be blended up to 10% in the Colli Albani and Massimo DOC. The grape is not mentioned in teh DOC-rules for Frascati DOC, but is allowed as other local grapes. One of the appelations best producers Castel de Paolis uses this grape.
