There are no documents about except in the rare mentions of Viala and Vermorel (1909), blaming him as a variety of Abruzzo. The limited presence in the territories of the province of Chieti, in particular, to Ari, Rocca San Giovanni Vacri and make even more daunting in any way certify the birth. It is certain that it is cultivated in Abruzzo and also known as or Cacciuola Cacciola, its use is restricted to accompany other white grapes such as Trebbiano.
