White grape variety from Lombardy and Veneto. The Acerbi (1825) reveals the presence of a Durella cultivated in the province of Vicenza and Oltrepò with very similar characteristics. The Di Rovasenda in 1877 and Perez in 1904 describing the same vitgno grown in Verona. Several times in the past has been confused with Nosiola.
Viticulture and winemaking
Environmental and cultural characteristics and needs :
It has medium leaf, three-lobed or entire; cluster medium, short and stubby, often with a wing, slightly compact, medium berry, ovoid, with thick, tough, covered with abundant bloom, green or yellowish brown. He has plenty of production and constant preference for clay-limestone hill land and farming systems expanded.
Diseases and adversity :
E 'subject to leaking in rainy springs, is sensitive to downy mildew, powdery mildew and sour rot, very susceptible to botrytis. It has good resistance to adverse weather and high sensitivity to desiccation of the spine.
