History


White grape variety, grown for centuries in the Marche region, in particular, in Macerata, probably part of the group of Greeks. It has numerous synonyms, including Montecchio, ribon, grapes close, greek Maceratino, matelicano, Verdicchio marine bianchetta Montecchio, greek castellano, Verdicchio Tyrolean Montecchiani white. Is raised in the oldest still married to tralciaia maple, often with traces, because it prefers a holding medium and large expansion with long pruning.

Viticulture and winemaking
