Cultivated in Puglia for many years, often blended with white bombino, this white grape variety still has uncertain origins. E 'quoted by Di Rovasenda in 1877, by Cavazza in 1934 and, above all, by Professor G. Frojo in 1875 makes extensive description.

Viticulture and winemaking
Characteristics and environmental and cultural : it leaves the media, and five lobes orbicular; cluster medium, conical or pyramidal, compact or compact medium, medium berry, spheroidal, with waxy skin, thick and consistent enough, with greenish-yellow skin. It has good vigor and productivity and high yield of wort.
Diseases and adversity : he has good tolerance to major fungal diseases and adverse climatic conditions.
Among the synonyms are recognized: Rizzulo, Pampanuto, The Pampanuto.
